In continuation of the cooperation with professor Dipra Jha (University of Nebraska-Lincoln), he kindly joined our course on Strategic Management with the topic “Strategic Thinking”. The lecture was performed in English, and it went well for the student in Management studies. Our colleagues from Whitefield Business School joined the class, who supported the project on Advanced Learning. XII Forum Europe-Ukraine “New opportunities, old threats” was held in the Polish city of Rzeszow on February 4-5. The students of specialty “Management” and “Public Administration” supervised by PhD student of the department, Niesheva Anastasiia, took place in the Forum invited by the Institution of Eastern Research and Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
Bogdan Verzhbinsky, the deputy dean of Social Science Collage of Rzeszów University, and Zygmunt Berdychowski, the head of the Program Council of Economic Forum in Krynytska were the guests of honour and had a discussion with our students. There were panel discussions, debates, and workshops during the Forum. As previous years, the Forum became a place for the meeting of politicians, the representatives of public authorities, leaders of the entrepreneurships, experts and journalists from Ukraine and the EU countries. The information of the Forum Europe-Ukraine was concentrated mostly on key aspects of modification and development of economy of Ukraine, local authorities development, efficiency of natural resources use, regions potential and new opportunities to cooperate.
“What was the most interesting? – Speakers, topics, events!” that’s short answer of our students. Indeed, the topics are wide and actual. “Shaping the future”, for instance, is a big panel on the cooperation between youth in Europe, interstate and global projects. A lot of discussions were concentrated on how to strengthen the international activities between Ukraine and other countries.
