At the end of April, teachers from the Department of Management, Alona Yevdokymova and Iuliia Myroshnychenko, took part in the IV European Congress of Local Governments (Krakow, Poland), a meeting platform for local and regional self-government, academics, representatives of NGOs and business. The European Congress was organized by the Institute for Eastern Studies, which brought together nearly 2000 participants from Central and Eastern Europe. In general, during the Congress, more than 60 panel and plenary discussions, seminars, debates and presentations of thematic blocks on finance, society, innovation, economics, environment and startups were held. International experts and local leaders discussed the urgent problems of local communities development, issues of support of small and medium-sized enterprises by local authorities, the impact of tourism and culture on regional development, and so on.
