In early September, the 21st Economic Forum - the largest in Central and Eastern Europe - was held in Krynica-Zdrój (Poland). As part of the collaboration between Sumy State University and the Institute for Eastern European Studies (Warsaw), which co-organized the Economic Forum, ten students from Sumy State University participated in the Forum as volunteers. Among them are three students of the Department of Management - Pavlenko Daria, Fedenko Tatiana and Wonders of Elizabeth. This year's Economic Forum has traditionally brought together over 4,500 participants - academics, NGOs, government and business from Europe, Asia, the United States and the Middle East.
Within three working days, the forum participants participated in more than 200 thematic meetings, attended panel discussions, lectures, workshops; strengthened their English skills and learned to work as a team. In particular, the forum discussed business and economy, energy, innovation development, European integration, international and social policy, security, investment, society and education, etc. In addition, students of SSU joined the organization of the Running Festival of the Economic Forum - an international sport event. Its purpose is to promote people who, through their dedication and work, become role models for others.

Sumy State University lecturer of Management Department Tetyana Mayboroda participated at Strategic Leadership Development, Peace and Conflict Resolution Workshop, which took place at Bingham University on 25th-27th of July.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof.W.B Qurix,OFR,while welcoming participants stated that Leadership and strategic development, peace and conflict resolution are the most important issues facing the world today.
The topic delivered to participants as an invited speaker by Mrs. Tetyana Mayboroda was devoted to change and transformational leadership as the leadership of new generation.
Such participation is a great contribution into mutual partnership relations Sumy State University has with Bingham University.
