In order to improve the quality of training of students of higher education in public administration, the Oleg Balatskyi department of management continues to increase practice-oriented activities.
So, on October 3-4, within the framework of classes on the discipline "Management of human resources in public administration" (teacher Vadim Lukyanikhin), students of higher education at the educational and qualification level "bachelor" specialty 6.281.00.02 PUBLIC MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION (гр. ЕН-93/2пу, ЕН-93/4пу.н) participated in a series of personnel master classes: "New draft law "On labor", "Mysterious Classifier of occupations", "Military accounting at the enterprise", which took place in the form of a webinar on the personnel video platform of the company Kadroland.
Students had the opportunity to obtain relevant practical knowledge and skills from the above-mentioned topics from practitioners - experts in the field of labor relations and personnel administration: Tetyana Moiseyenko, Timur Aliyev, Lyudmila Smerdova. The most pressing questions that interested students were discussed at practical classes.
Our colleagues are not only engaged in science, but also have creative hobbies.We congratulate our colleague Yulia Anatoliivna Opanasyuk on the opening of the exhibition at the Sumy Center for Vocational Training in Design and Services, which is entitled: "Such Different Happiness".
Yulia told us about her exhibition: "These are not new photos, but the most favorite ones from years of creative life. I reviewed all my works for selection for another case, but there were many selected photos. That's how the idea to create an exhibition arose. Why such a name??? Because now, more than ever, Ukrainians value every moment of their lives. So, in my exhibition there is everything that is happiness for me: the sea and mountains, our region and distant countries, my son and my inner world. All this makes me happy !"

The project "Education in emergency situations and protection initiatives for the most vulnerable sections of the population of Ukraine" is ongoing. The educational initiative is implemented with the support of the non-profit organization AVSI and the public organization Emmaus.
Recreational classes on the topic of "Leadership and its components" are conducted by Inna Balagurovska, a graduate student of the Department of Management. Workshops for young people are conducted in a playful manner and with the use of interactive learning methods, thanks to which participants develop leadership qualities, gain quality knowledge and form an idea about their future profession.
Career guidance activities (testing to reveal personality strengths, informing about specialties) are conducted during classes, thanks to which young people have the opportunity to understand their inclinations to a certain field of activity.
On September 29, 2022, at 10:05 a.m., during a practical session on the"Production Organization" course, a meeting was held with a 2006 graduate of the Department of Management named after O.F. Balatskyi.
Ihor Mykhailovych Miroshnikov holds the position of head of reportingmanagement and efficiency improvement at the "Dila" Medical Laboratory. The total experience of working in management positions in both international and Ukrainian companies is 15 years. Has diverse experience in such areas as: project management, import development, analytics, business development, business planning, finance and sales. Worked with various markets: Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia.
The meeting was organized by Dr. Rybalchenko Svitlana Mykolayivna.
Students of other specialties within the disciplines "Management and management psychology" and "Strategic and innovative management" joined the meeting.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a challenge for all countries of the world. Although the most negative impact was on public health, the pandemic also caused damage to the economic, social and energy sectors.
On September 22, 2022, at 10:05 a.m., as part of a practical session on the "Production Organization" course, a meeting was held with Vadim Viktorovych Kharchenko, a 2011 graduate of the Department of Management named after O.F. Balatskyi.
They talked about the experience of working in different organizations, the possibilities and prospects of coordination in space and time of different directions of work and production, process management. Ways of developing the qualities of a manager, his competence and professionalism.
The meeting was organized by Dr. Rybalchenko Svitlana Mykolayivna. Students of other specialties within the disciplines "Management and management psychology" and "Strategic and innovative management" joined the meeting.

Teachers of the Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management, PhD, associate Professor Opanasyuk Yu.A. and PhD, associate Professor Smolennikov D.O. participated in the Summer School of the University of Liverpool (Great Britain) for three weeks in the summer. Teachers visited the section IEEL 026 “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Global Challenges, Local Action, Achieved Outcomes" (on-line) from June 13 to July 1, 2022. The summer school was held by the University of Liverpool as part of a sister university cooperation agreement.
The teachers gained new knowledge on sustainable development and green economy and the skills of implementing new ideas into the educational process.
