Inna Balahurovska, Phd student in Management studies, took part in training of facilitators. As a result, the certificate of facilitator is issued and now Inna has an opportunity to manage trainings in the sphere of information education.
The Facilitator who has in-depth knowledge, skills and experience in implementing the Active Citizens programme and who meets the British Council’s criteria of conducting activities and training other facilitators.
In 2020-2022, Facilitators will be involved in the following activities under the Active Citizens programme: seminars for new facilitators (representatives of partner organisations which train active citizens), local and regional pitchings, national and study visits, national conferences and other events which the British Council organises.

The first session of the Global Virtual Class took place on 4h of February, which is one of many planned within a new course «International Relations and Global Leadership». This course is designed and provided jointly with the Washington State University. From Sumy State University, the following faculty will participate this semester: Dr. Hanna Shvindina, Dr. Tetyana Mayboroda, and Dr. Yuliia Opanasiuk. The initiator and leading instructor of the class is Professor Dipra Jha, Assistant Director and Scholarly Associate Professor of School of Hospitality Business Management at Carson College of Business (Washington State University).
Welcome remarks were performed by Dr. Tom Tripp, Professor of Management, Rom Markin Endowed Leadership Chair in Business, and Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Washington State University Carson College of Business.

Good news! The Virtual mobility for the students in Management studies has launched this Spring, and a new round will be opened this Thursday, 4th of February. This project is the fruit of cooperation between Sumy State University and Washington State University. The sessions are devoted to International Relations and how to run business in different countries. The speakers of the class are from all around the world, the US, China, Turkey, UK, India and of course, Ukraine.
