Assistant of the Department of Management, PhD of PA Demikhov A.I. won the second prize in the contest "Pedagogical Innovation of SSU" in 2019 in the nomination "Practice-oriented training of students." The teacher proposed the project “Video as an innovative aspect of practice-oriented learning” for the competition. The essence of the project is to complete the student’s creative task: shooting on a smartphone and editing a compressed video (up to 4 minutes). The video should contain brief information about the urgency of the problem identified by a student that he or she is studying within the educational program. Also, a student offers possible solutions to this problem and formulates a call for a community in the sphere of integrity and offers possible managerial decisions. The university’s expert jury evaluated this project at high level.
On November 17-22, 2019, Associate Professor of Department of Management Svitlana Kolosok participated in study trips within the joint project “Support of young university capacities in education and science and research in Ukraine”. The educational events were held at Sumy State University, Sumy National Agrarian University and Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, and financed within the Development Cooperation of the Czech Republic. Within the study trips, it was possible to improve research competencies, to participate in the Multidisciplinary Conference for Young Researchers, and to obtain the necessary links for future cooperation.

Among the other 8 experts, our colleagues Yuryi Petrushenko and Hanna Shvindina, the representatives of NGO “Lifelong Learning Centre” and educators of the Sumy State University. An interesting and informative event for students of gr. M-71 was held on December 5, 2019. Within the framework of the discipline “Organization of Industrial Enterprise Management”, the professor of the Department of Management, Kislyy Vladimir Nikolaevich, held a business game “Development of job descriptions for managers and specialists” for third-year students. The purpose of the event was the assimilation by students of the principles of forming the organizational structure of the functional unit of the enterprise, as well as the mastery of the methodology for compiling job descriptions. To complete the task, the group was divided into three work teams that served as the technology bureaus. Each team selected a team leader (head of the bureau), other members of the teams acted as executors in the bureau: engineers and technologists.
