On 19th of November the ceremony of The Best Students Award took place, where our students Zaichyk Kateryna and Mylyta Kovalevskyi got their acknowledgement. Kateryna won the status of the best union leader this year, and Mylyta was awarded as the best public figure. We proudly congratulate our team members and wish them further success!

The Final 12th session of the COIL project is over. It was a great journey and we were glad to participate in it. During the semester the students and teachers from 7 Universities all around the world took part in the synchronized lecturers and panel discussions on Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management via Global Virtual Classroom Project 2019. The insights for the development of tourism sector and hospitality were given to the participants. Besides Ukrainian HEIs, this project involved The Oberoi Center of Learning and Development (New Delhi, India), Breda University of Applied Sciences and Saxion University of Applied Sciences (the Netherlands), Oman Tourism College (Oman), The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (United Arab Emirates), Bournemouth University (UK) and University of Nebraska (USA). As a result, the students will be awarded with certificated from University of Nebraska. The project took place thanks to international cooperation between Sumy State University (coordinator associate professor Shvindina Hanna) and the University of Nebraska (coordinator professor Dipra Jha).

We congratulate a team member, Victoria Kubatko, who has a PhD now! Victoria successfully defended her theses on “State policy on de-shadowing the economy of Ukraine taking into account ecological and economic factors” in May and now Attestation Committee of Ukraine awarded Victoria with the scientific degree (on 15th of October). We wish Viktoria success in her future!
