28.04. 2020 students of 2, 3 courses of specialty "Public administration"met with the Director of the Department of Communications and Information Policy of Sumy City Council Kohan Antonina Ivanovna, who described the planning and implementation of the strategy of intercultural development in Sumy.

As a part of the 2nd stage of the competition of SSU “Innovation of ICT for Contemporary Education (ICT4EDU)” the lecturer of the Department of Management, Ph.D. from the state government Demikhov O.I. prepared together with a student of the specialty "Public management and administration" Malionkina Inna creative video. The video presents the process of students' innovative learning in public administration:
1. Theoretical study of the material of the relevant discipline;
2. Search for an unsolved problem in a specific field;
3. Offer a solution to this problem;
4. Design your thoughts in the form of shooting on a smartphone compressed video.

Name of the nomination in the competition: "Mobile devices in the educational process".
On April 30, 2020, at 11-30а.m, an online lecture for students of the Pu-61, Pu-71, Pu-81 groups of the specialty “Public Administration” which was conducted by Nazarov Nikolay Sergeevich Candidate of Political Sciences, Head of the Center for Regional Security Studies. Nazarov Nikolay Sergeevich is an specialist in project management, regional security, European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
He has extensive experience in the field of fundraising - for the period 2016-2020 years, for the institutional activities of the Center for Regional Security Studies, he attracted 5 international grants totaling about 1 million hryvnia.
On april 23, 2020 students - bachelors of the group M-61 of the specialty "Management" had a webinar with the commercial director of the trading company, chief accountant of pharmacy network Osynenko О.
The meeting was held within the discipline "Management of economic potential of the enterprise" and was devoted to capacity management in crisis situations. The meeting was held in the form of question and answer. The activity Sumy region’s enterprises in quarantine, peculiarities of doing business in crisis and measures that allow businesses to function during this difficult period were considered.
On April 30, 2020, at 9.30 am, the Director of the Center for Administrative Services in Sumy conducted an online lecture for students-bachelors of the groups PM-61, PM-71 and PM-81 of the specialty "Public Management and Administration".
Strizhova Alla Viktorivna, director of CoAS of the Sumy city told the students about the features of the Center work, the regime and specifics of work in quarantine time, the processes of administration within the organization and about the system of electronic document circulation of the Center. Within the framework of the discipline "Organization of Administrative Activities" Alla Viktorivna revealed features of future work in the state electronic systems "Vulik" and "Trembita".
The student of Oleg Balatskyi ARIFEM, Tretyak Tetyana won the II place at the Ukrainian Competition for the Student Scientific projects in “Management” specialization “Management of Environmental Activity” and entered TOP-5 Best Papers in Ukraine. The topic is “Ecological factor valuation in a process of heat supply of settlements design” under supervision of professor Zhulavskyi A. This project was inspired by the global challenges of the nowadays in the ecology and energy consumption. This is not the first scientific work of Tetyana, as she takes part in the events of the department annually. For instance, in 2018 she defended her scientific project “Foreign students as a social group” in English in Lviv, and then in Ukrainian – in Kyiv.
Last year under the supervision of Martynets V. Tetyana wrote the scientific project on “Competitiveness of the Enterprise”. And so far Tetyana has more than 7 published conferences proceedings in a field of management, business, competitiveness, ecology, finance, social responsibility and energy economization.
To learn from leading top-managers of Ukraine? Everything is possible for students speciality “Management”. And today’s day witnessed that our students are so curious.
On-line meeting with General Director of OLX Group in Europe and Eastern Asia Sergey Gapochenko caused thousand of questions and lots of impressions. How could it be otherwise, when they had top-manager of most successful company of Ukraine (due to statistics OLX platform is most attended on-line service after Google, Youtube and Facebook), and also a manager of international group Naspers in several countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Portuguese, Moldova, Uzbekistan Kazakhstan etc.).
The Virtual Class is a result of inspiring cooperation with University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Professor Dipra Jha. After this challenge started the department of management became a founder of virtual learning when students, postgraduate students and educators from different universities take part in a class synchronically, and voluntary conciliators may join from all around the world. This course was launched by the head of the department, Shvindina Hanna, and on this Thursday, on 23rd of April the guest speaker was Mr. Subheer Ramnoruth, the Director Academic & International Affairs of Whitefield Business School (Mauritius). This is our luck that Mr Ramnoruth supported the project from the very beginning, and now being a practitioner, an entrepreneur & consultant with deep insights on leadership & management, he shared his vision about the leadership, organizational culture and strategy development. More than 60 participants attended the class, among them there were the graduates and PhD students of ARIFEM Institute.
