On June 15-16, the defense of the bachelor’s qualification papers in the specialty 073 “Management” has taken place. The students presented the results of their own research. The achievements of the students were interesting, diverse and quite deep.
Theses have been defended in Ukrainian and English.
We congratulate our students on the assigning of the Bachelor of Management qualification and wish them success and the realization of further plans!
Iana Kobushko, a teacher at the Oleg Balatsky Department of Management, completed her 2-week digital skills evening school in Kosice, Slovakia. During the training, experienced speakers-practitioners in the field of information technology shared their experience in IT project management, data analysis, UX/UI design, testing, etc. The training program was implemented by the public organization female algorithm with the assistance of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Institutes and faculties introduced their inventions, held interesting contests, and fondly talked about admission conditions and study features. Each department shared its achievements. Entrants had a great opportunity to find new friends, spend a great time in the circle of representatives of the faculties in which they are interested.
On May 30, the new IDEA LAB project of the Department of Management named after Oleg Balatsky of Sumy State University!!! The first meeting was devoted to "Public management and administration". Students from several schools of our city visited the department.
The choice of a profession is an important step in adult life. First of all, this is a responsibility to parents, to society, and most importantly to yourself! This responsibility consists in choosing your own path and following it with pleasure throughout your life!
On 05/24/23 Rybalchenko Svitlana Mykolaivna held an online meeting with students of the 10-B class of KU Sumy Specialized School I-III degrees No. 29. On 05/25/23 an online meeting was held with students of the 10-B class of KU Sumy Specialized School I-III degrees No. 29.
They discussed the biggest advantages of studying at Sumy State University, opportunities for international mobility and studying in English-speaking groups. Special attention was paid to specialties of the Department of Management named after O. Balatskyi.

23.05.23, PhD Rybalchenko Svitlana Mykolaivna visited the students of the 11th grade of the Starosilsky Lyceum of the Nizhnysyrovat village council of the Sumy district of the Sumy region.
The main topics of communication were the specialties of the Department of Management named after O. Balatskyi and the opportunities of students of Sumy State University.
From 8 May to 19 May 2023, teachers of the O. Balatsky Department of Management Kostyantyn Kyrychenko and Tetyana Mayboroda, together with other representatives of Sumy State University, attended a Professional Development Programme at Bath Spa University, UK, as part of the KA107 Mobility Programme founded by Erasmus+.
Exchange of experience, professional development, new opportunities for joint research, completion of old projects and preparation of new ones - the programme was intensive and fruitful. The cohort of participants of the mobility programme was also represented by faculties from the University of Namibia, the University of Malawi, and Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.
On April 28-29, senior teachers of the department Matvieieva Yu.A. and Opanasiuk Yu.A. took part in the work of the 19th international conference "SOCIAL INNOVATIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT" at Klaipėda University (Lithuania).
