On September 13, 2023, undergraduate students attended a practice-oriented "Product Manager in Modern Business" class. The class was held within the discipline "Project Management" under the educational program "Project Management". The guest speaker was Kateryna Mandryka, a product management expert, Chief Product Officer (HoldYou), Product Manager (NDA), Head of Content (ex-Skyeng), and a graduate of the Project Management program at Sumy State University
Students had the opportunity to learn about the role of a product manager, useful project manager competencies, and modern technologies in product and project management.
The Oleg Balatsky Department of Management received a certificate of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education on the "exemplary" accreditation of the educational and scientific program Management of the training of doctors of philosophy in the specialty 073 Management.

On July 11, 2023, Associate Professor Svitlana Kolosok took part in the second "Innovate Ukraine" competition briefing. The event was distributed on the B2MATCH platform, an international communication forum for finding partners and their cooperation in developing projects to restore Ukraine's energy system. The "Innovate Ukraine" fund is aimed at supporting innovative technologies and business models to restore Ukraine's energy industry and its sustainable transformation. On August 31, 2023, Senior Lecturer of the Oleg Balatskiy Department of Management, Ph.D. Opanasiuk Yu.A., took part in a webinar on the topic "Corruption and the Shadow Economy: EU Practices and Ukraine's Specifics." The event was organized by the State Trade and Economic University as part of the "EU AntiCor" project, supported by the European Union under the Jean Monnet program and Erasmus+.
On June 20-29, 2023, teacher of Sumy State University (Oleksii Demikhov, PhD, senior lecturer of the Department of Management named after Oleg Balatsky) participated in the academic mobility program ERASMUS+KA107 at the Czech University of life sciences Prague for the purpose of training on the subject of waste management. During the implementation of the university-wide grant, the teacher took part in trainings in the areas of economics and waste management, global problems of food security and sustainable biotechnologies. Current issues of minimizing the impact on the environment and promoting the principles of the closed cycle economy were considered, innovative methods of waste management and resource recovery in the context of sustainable development were studied.
